The Štemberger family respectfully nurtures the venerable tradition of the old Turk farmhouse in Šepulje. Since time immemorial, the people of this large Karst farm have written significant pages in the story of winemaking on the Karst plateau, as also evidenced by the region’s oldest grapevine, growing on its trellis behind the farmhouse. Already more than 300 years old, this vine is present in the thoughts of the Štembergers as they tend their own vineyards in harmony with nature, something demonstrated by the organic certification awarded to their wines.
